I want an OnLive.

Here are some links to get you wanting one too.

http://www.onlive.com/ <--their homepage

And a couple of news stories.

I admit, I had my doubts when I first heard about it. But the reviews seem to be quite good. Now let's just hope it isn't super expensive like the ridiculous iPhone.

I showed my friend the Annie Leibovitz photos, and she said she wished that there was a Beauty and the Beast one. Turns out there is.

And another photo from the Wizard of Oz shoot:

I have always been a fan of Annie Leibovitz's work. I don't like her as a person as much because she tends to be a little strange (and maybe cause of the Miley Cyrus thing - I tend to hold grudges), but I do admire her creative genius. I absolutely love this series, called "Disney Dream Portrait."

Click on the photos to enlarge them.

Keira Knightley as Dorothy

Love her dress, even if it isn't the traditional blue gingham.

Julianne Moore as Ariel & Michael Phelps as Merman

Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella

Rachel Weisz as Snow White

Rachel really fit Snow White well, I was surprised. She looks good. But I've always loved her since I saw The Mummy.

Roger Federer as King Arthur

Jessica Biel as Pocahontas

Gisele Bundchen as Wendy Darling & Mikhail Baryshnikov as Peter Pan & Tina Fey as Tinkerbell

An enlarged photo of Tina Fey as Tinkerbell (which I think is hilarious):

David Beckham as Prince Phillip (Sleeping Beauty)

Jennifer Lopez as Jasmine & Marc Anthony as Aladdin

Do not like this couple whatsoever.

Julie Andrews as the Blue Fairy (Pinocchio) & Abigail Breslin as Fira (Disney Fairies)

Beyonce Knowles as Alice & Lyle Lovett as the March Hare & Oliver Platt as Mad Hatter

Personally, I don't like Beyonce being Alice. But maybe that's 'cause Alice was always white (blonde + blue eyes to boot).

Whoopi Goldberg as the Genie (Aladdin)

full story here

While I'm not super offended, it does make me a little annoyed that people are commenting on youtube (where I found the photo) that it was just fun and games and Miley should be left alone. Then they go on further on how white people say the n word all the time and that's more racist than this. Right, because a "tiny" racist thing doesn't matter when compared to a "big" racist thing. And there's an Asian in the photo, which automatically makes it not racist right? Just like if black people say the n word in their songs, it's okay! If a Chinese person calls themself a Chink, that's okay because they ARE Chinese! Where did that reasoning come from?

I was very amused on the plane ride to Seattle.

My internet has been extremely slow lately, so it's really hard to post. It's still slow actually. I suspect someone is stealing my internet.

"Miley Cyrus says Annie Leibovitz has made her want to become a photographer. That explains those MySpace pics."

Sugar Cane Rat

I was watching Bizarre Foods on Travel Channel, and this restaurant in Uganda serves this rodent. I've never even heard of it, but it's HUGE. They can grow up to 18 pounds and feed on grass. Not surprisingly, it wreaks havoc on sugarcane plantations, so farmers actually fiercely protect the pythons that they unleash in the fields to eat the rats.

Good stuff.

The Japanese Natto Bean

I see a commercial for this stuff quite often, and each time it grosses me out.

I only knew it by its Chinese name, na dou, until I looked it up on the internet, and turns out it's Japanese. Apparently it's really popular over there. Supposed to be nutritious, full of protein, and dates back quite a long time. Smells like strong cheese, but doesn't taste like it. It is made from fermented soybeans that are mixed with a certain bacteria.

Not surprisingly, it is an acquired taste.

My mom said she can't handle eating them. Her mom would try to make her when she was little, and she could never do it. Personally, I don't think I could ever eat it either.

Bad enough that it smells like ammonia, but it looks like it's covered in spiderwebs or some sort of internal body mucous. It reminds me of the insides of that giant worm you fall into in Gears of War 2.

Reindeer Dogs

Okay, so I totally couldn't resist and cheated; I'm posting 2 photos today instead of 1.
